إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ﴿1﴾
Indeed, We sent the Qur\`an down during the Night of Decree. (English: Saheeh International)
We revealed the Quran on the Night of Destiny. (English: Sarwar)
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ﴿2﴾
And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree? (English: Saheeh International)
Would that you knew what the Night of Destiny is! (English: Sarwar)
لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ﴿3﴾
The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months. (English: Saheeh International)
(Worship) on the Night of Destiny is better than (worship) for a thousand months. (English: Sarwar)
تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ مِنْ كُلِّ أَمْرٍ﴿4﴾
The angels and the Spirit descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter. (English: Saheeh International)
On this Night, the angels and the spirit descend by the permission of their Lord with His decree (to determine everyone\`s destiny). (English: Sarwar)
سَلَامٌ هِيَ حَتَّى مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِ﴿5﴾
Peace it is until the emergence of dawn. (English: Saheeh International)
This Night is all peace until the break of dawn. (English: Sarwar)
لَمْ يَكُنِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ مُنْفَكِّينَ حَتَّى تَأْتِيَهُمُ الْبَيِّنَةُ﴿1﴾
Those who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists were not to be parted [from misbelief] until there came to them clear evidence - (English: Saheeh International)
The disbelievers among the People of the Book and the pagans disbelieved (in Islam) only after receiving divine testimony: (English: Sarwar)
رَسُولٌ مِنَ اللهِ يَتْلُو صُحُفًا مُطَهَّرَةً﴿2﴾
A Messenger from Allah, reciting purified scriptures (English: Saheeh International)
a Messenger (Muhammad) from God, reciting to them parts of the purified,N (English: Sarwar)
فِيهَا كُتُبٌ قَيِّمَةٌ﴿3﴾
Within which are correct writings. (English: Saheeh International)
holy Book which contain eternal laws of guidance. (English: Sarwar)
وَمَا تَفَرَّقَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ إِلَّا مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَتْهُمُ الْبَيِّنَةُ﴿4﴾
Nor did those who were given the Scripture become divided until after there had come to them clear evidence. (English: Saheeh International)
Nor did the People of the Book disagreed among themselves until after receiving the ancient divine testaments. (English: Sarwar)
وَمَا أُمِرُوا إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوا اللهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ حُنَفَاءَ وَيُقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَيُؤْتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَذَلِكَ دِينُ الْقَيِّمَةِ﴿5﴾
And they were not commanded except to worship Allah, [being] sincere to Him in religion, inclining to truth, and to establish prayer and to give zakah. And that is the correct religion. (English: Saheeh International)
They were only commanded to worship God, be uprightly devoted to His religion, steadfast in prayer and pay the zakat. This is truly the eternal religion. (English: Sarwar)
