إِذَا الشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ﴿1﴾
When the sun is wrapped up [in darkness] (English: Saheeh International)
(On the day) when the sun is made to cease shining,N (English: Sarwar)
وَإِذَا النُّجُومُ انْكَدَرَتْ﴿2﴾
And when the stars fall, dispersing,N (English: Saheeh International)
the stars are made to fade away,N (English: Sarwar)
وَإِذَا الْجِبَالُ سُيِّرَتْ﴿3﴾
And when the mountains are removed (English: Saheeh International)
the mountains are scattered about as dust,N (English: Sarwar)
وَإِذَا الْعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتْ﴿4﴾
And when full-term she-camels are neglected (English: Saheeh International)
the young barren camels are abandoned,N (English: Sarwar)
وَإِذَا الْوُحُوشُ حُشِرَتْ﴿5﴾
And when the wild beasts are gathered (English: Saheeh International)
the wild beasts are herded together,N (English: Sarwar)
وَإِذَا الْبِحَارُ سُجِّرَتْ﴿6﴾
And when the seas are filled with flame (English: Saheeh International)
the oceans are brought to a boil,N (English: Sarwar)
وَإِذَا النُّفُوسُ زُوِّجَتْ﴿7﴾
And when the souls are paired (English: Saheeh International)
souls are reunited with their bodies,N (English: Sarwar)
وَإِذَا الْمَوْءُودَةُ سُئِلَتْ﴿8﴾
And when the girl [who was] buried alive is asked (English: Saheeh International)
questions are asked about the baby girls buried alive,N (English: Sarwar)
بِأَيِّ ذَنْبٍ قُتِلَتْ﴿9﴾
For what sin she was killed (English: Saheeh International)
such as, "For what crime were they murdered?" (English: Sarwar)
وَإِذَا الصُّحُفُ نُشِرَتْ﴿10﴾
And when the pages are made public (English: Saheeh International)
the records of deeds are made public,N (English: Sarwar)
