وَالنَّجْمِ إِذَا هَوَى﴿1﴾
By the star when it descends,N (English: Saheeh International)
By the declining star,N (English: Sarwar)
مَا ضَلَّ صَاحِبُكُمْ وَمَا غَوَى﴿2﴾
Your companion [Muhammad] has not strayed, nor has he erred,N (English: Saheeh International)
your companion is not in error nor has he gone astray. (English: Sarwar)
وَمَا يَنْطِقُ عَنِ الْهَوَى﴿3﴾
Nor does he speak from [his own] inclination. (English: Saheeh International)
He does not speak out of his own desires. (English: Sarwar)
إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا وَحْيٌ يُوحَى﴿4﴾
It is not but a revelation revealed,N (English: Saheeh International)
It is a revelations which has been revealed to him (English: Sarwar)
عَلَّمَهُ شَدِيدُ الْقُوَى﴿5﴾
Taught to him by one intense in strength - (English: Saheeh International)
and taught to him (English: Sarwar)
ذُو مِرَّةٍ فَاسْتَوَى﴿6﴾
One of soundness. And he rose to [his] true form (English: Saheeh International)
by the great mighty one (Gabriel),N (English: Sarwar)
وَهُوَ بِالْأُفُقِ الْأَعْلَى﴿7﴾
While he was in the higher [part of the] horizon. (English: Saheeh International)
the strong one who appeared on the uppermost horizon. (English: Sarwar)
ثُمَّ دَنَا فَتَدَلَّى﴿8﴾
Then he approached and descended (English: Saheeh International)
He (Gabriel) then came nearer and nearer. (English: Sarwar)
فَكَانَ قَابَ قَوْسَيْنِ أَوْ أَدْنَى﴿9﴾
And was at a distance of two bow lengths or nearer. (English: Saheeh International)
until he was as close to him as the distance of two bows, or even less. (English: Sarwar)
فَأَوْحَى إِلَى عَبْدِهِ مَا أَوْحَى﴿10﴾
And he revealed to His Servant what he revealed. (English: Saheeh International)
He revealed to God\`s servant whatever he wanted. (English: Sarwar)
