قَدْ أَفْلَحَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ﴿1﴾
Certainly will the believers have succeeded: (English: Saheeh International)
Triumphant indeed are the believers,N (English: Sarwar)
الَّذِينَ هُمْ فِي صَلَاتِهِمْ خَاشِعُونَ﴿2﴾
They who are during their prayer humbly submissive (English: Saheeh International)
who are submissive to God in their prayers,N (English: Sarwar)
وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنِ اللَّغْوِ مُعْرِضُونَ﴿3﴾
And they who turn away from ill speech (English: Saheeh International)
who avoid impious talks,N (English: Sarwar)
وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِلزَّكَاةِ فَاعِلُونَ﴿4﴾
And they who are observant of zakah (English: Saheeh International)
pay their religious tax (English: Sarwar)
وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِفُرُوجِهِمْ حَافِظُونَ﴿5﴾
And they who guard their private parts (English: Saheeh International)
and restrain their carnal desires (English: Sarwar)
إِلَّا عَلَى أَزْوَاجِهِمْ أَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ غَيْرُ مَلُومِينَ﴿6﴾
Except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they will not be blamed - (English: Saheeh International)
except with their spouses and slave-girls. The practice of carnal relations is lawful with them. (English: Sarwar)
فَمَنِ ابْتَغَى وَرَاءَ ذَلِكَ فَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْعَادُونَ﴿7﴾
But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors - (English: Saheeh International)
Those who desire to go beyond such limits they commit transgression,N (English: Sarwar)
وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِأَمَانَاتِهِمْ وَعَهْدِهِمْ رَاعُونَ﴿8﴾
And they who are to their trusts and their promises attentive (English: Saheeh International)
those who are true to their trust,N (English: Sarwar)
وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَى صَلَوَاتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ﴿9﴾
And they who carefully maintain their prayers - (English: Saheeh International)
to their promise,N (English: Sarwar)
أُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْوَارِثُونَ﴿10﴾
Those are the inheritors (English: Saheeh International)
and who are steadfast in their prayer. (English: Sarwar)
