الر تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْكِتَابِ وَقُرْآنٍ مُبِينٍ﴿1﴾
Alif, Lam, Ra. These are the verses of the Book and a clear Qur\`an. (English: Saheeh International)

رُبَمَا يَوَدُّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَوْ كَانُوا مُسْلِمِينَ﴿2﴾
Perhaps those who disbelieve will wish that they had been Muslims. (English: Saheeh International)
How strongly the unbelievers will wish that they had been Muslims. (English: Sarwar)
ذَرْهُمْ يَأْكُلُوا وَيَتَمَتَّعُوا وَيُلْهِهِمُ الْأَمَلُ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ﴿3﴾
Let them eat and enjoy themselves and be diverted by [false] hope, for they are going to know. (English: Saheeh International)
(Muhammad), leave them alone to eat and enjoy themselves and let their desires deceive them; they will soon know (the Truth). (English: Sarwar)
وَمَا أَهْلَكْنَا مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ إِلَّا وَلَهَا كِتَابٌ مَعْلُومٌ﴿4﴾
And We did not destroy any city but that for it was a known decree. (English: Saheeh International)
We never destroyed any town without pre-ordaining the fate of its people. (English: Sarwar)
مَا تَسْبِقُ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ﴿5﴾
No nation will precede its term, nor will they remain thereafter. (English: Saheeh International)
Every nation can only live for the time appointed for it. (English: Sarwar)
وَقَالُوا يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِي نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ الذِّكْرُ إِنَّكَ لَمَجْنُونٌ﴿6﴾
And they say, "O you upon whom the message has been sent down, indeed you are mad. (English: Saheeh International)
(The unbelievers have said), "You to whom the Quran has been revealed are insane. (English: Sarwar)
لَوْ مَا تَأْتِينَا بِالْمَلَائِكَةِ إِنْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ﴿7﴾
Why do you not bring us the angels, if you should be among the truthful?" (English: Saheeh International)
Why do you not bring down the angels if what you say is true". (English: Sarwar)
مَا نُنَزِّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةَ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ وَمَا كَانُوا إِذًا مُنْظَرِينَ﴿8﴾
We do not send down the angels except with truth; and the disbelievers would not then be reprieved. (English: Saheeh International)
We do not send down angels except for a genuine purpose, at which time none will be given any further respite. (English: Sarwar)
إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا الذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُونَ﴿9﴾
Indeed, it is We who sent down the Qur\`an and indeed, We will be its guardian. (English: Saheeh International)
We Ourselves have revealed the Quran and We are its Protectors. (English: Sarwar)
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ فِي شِيَعِ الْأَوَّلِينَ﴿10﴾
And We had certainly sent [messengers] before you, [O Muhammad], among the sects of the former peoples. (English: Saheeh International)
We sent Messengers to the ancient people who lived before you. (English: Sarwar)
