أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَابِ الْفِيلِ﴿1﴾
Have you not considered, [O Muhammad], how your Lord dealt with the companions of the elephant? (English: Saheeh International)
Have you not considered how your Lord dealt with the people of the elephant? (English: Sarwar)
أَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِي تَضْلِيلٍ﴿2﴾
Did He not make their plan into misguidance? (English: Saheeh International)
Did He not cause their evil plots to fail (English: Sarwar)
وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْرًا أَبَابِيلَ﴿3﴾
And He sent against them birds in flocks,N (English: Saheeh International)
by sending against them flocks of swallows (English: Sarwar)
تَرْمِيهِمْ بِحِجَارَةٍ مِنْ سِجِّيلٍ﴿4﴾
Striking them with stones of hard clay,N (English: Saheeh International)
which showered them with small pebbles of clay (English: Sarwar)
فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍ مَأْكُولٍ﴿5﴾
And He made them like eaten straw. (English: Saheeh International)
to turn them into (something) like the left-over grass grazed by cattle. (English: Sarwar)
لِإِيلَافِ قُرَيْشٍ﴿1﴾
For the accustomed security of the Quraysh - (English: Saheeh International)
For God\`s favors to them during their summer and winter journeys,N (English: Sarwar)
إِيلَافِهِمْ رِحْلَةَ الشِّتَاءِ وَالصَّيْفِ﴿2﴾
Their accustomed security [in] the caravan of winter and summer - (English: Saheeh International)
Quraish should worship the Lord of this House. (English: Sarwar)
فَلْيَعْبُدُوا رَبَّ هَذَا الْبَيْتِ﴿3﴾
Let them worship the Lord of this House,N (English: Saheeh International)
It is He who has fed them when they were hungry (English: Sarwar)
الَّذِي أَطْعَمَهُمْ مِنْ جُوعٍ وَآمَنَهُمْ مِنْ خَوْفٍ﴿4﴾
Who has fed them, [saving them] from hunger and made them safe, [saving them] from fear. (English: Saheeh International)
and has made them secure from fear. (English: Sarwar)
أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي يُكَذِّبُ بِالدِّينِ﴿1﴾
Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense? (English: Saheeh International)
Have you seen the one who calls the religion a lie? (English: Sarwar)
