أَلْهَاكُمُ التَّكَاثُرُ﴿1﴾
Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you (English: Saheeh International)
The desire to have more of the worldly gains have pre-occupied you so much (that you have neglected remembring God),N (English: Sarwar)
حَتَّى زُرْتُمُ الْمَقَابِرَ﴿2﴾
Until you visit the graveyards. (English: Saheeh International)
until you come to the graves. (English: Sarwar)
كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ﴿3﴾
No! You are going to know. (English: Saheeh International)
You shall know. (English: Sarwar)
ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ﴿4﴾
Then no! You are going to know. (English: Saheeh International)
You shall cetainly know (about the consequences of your deeds). (English: Sarwar)
كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ الْيَقِينِ﴿5﴾
No! If you only knew with knowledge of certainty... (English: Saheeh International)
You will certainly have the knowledge of your deeds beyond all doubt. (English: Sarwar)
لَتَرَوُنَّ الْجَحِيمَ﴿6﴾
You will surely see the Hellfire. (English: Saheeh International)
You will be shown hell (English: Sarwar)
ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ الْيَقِينِ﴿7﴾
Then you will surely see it with the eye of certainty. (English: Saheeh International)
and you will see it with your own eyes. (English: Sarwar)
ثُمَّ لَتُسْأَلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ النَّعِيمِ﴿8﴾
Then you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure. (English: Saheeh International)
Then, on that day, you will be questioned about the bounties (of God). (English: Sarwar)
وَالْعَصْرِ﴿1﴾
By time,N (English: Saheeh International)
By the time (of the advent of Islam),N (English: Sarwar)
إِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ﴿2﴾
Indeed, mankind is in loss,N (English: Saheeh International)
the human being is doomed to suffer loss,N (English: Sarwar)
